Review: Shaw’s is best restaurant in Chicago

By Sammy Pinner

Have you ever eaten at a restaurant and left completely satisfied and happy with what you just experienced? Shaw’s Crab House in Chicago is exactly that. Not only is the service amazing, the owner and the waiters make you feel completely comfortable. The owner will walk around the restaurant and check in on some of his customers to see how they are doing and ask if there is anything he can do to make your visit more welcome. The waiters will make sure customers have everything you need and make sure you are enjoying yourself. The restaurant is a moderate size and very well decorated.

When I went to Shaw’s Crab House, I was there with two other people and we ordered a huge appetizer that was called the Cold Appetizer Combination, which consists of oysters, jumbo shrimp, Alaskan red king crab bites, empress crab claws, and Maine lobster tail. For the main course, we ate the Maryland-style crab cake which was full of flavor and came with a lemon to squeeze over the crab cake to give it the extra flavor you want. Shaw’s is very high priced but also has very high-quality seafood. This restaurant should get a four out of five stars because the food is very high quality but the price is slightly expensive. Shaw’s Crab House is one of the highest rated restaurants in Chicago and everyone I know who has been to Shaw’s absolutely loves it!
