REVIEW: Nori Sushi & Grill: Worth a Visit?

By Bryant Grizzell

Earlier this year, a new Japanese restaurant opened on Kirk Rd: A chain location of Nori Sushi and Grill, located at 2933 Kirk Rd, in Aurora. Providing a leisurely dining experience, offering a wide variety of sushi, noodles, and bento boxes, and all for a great price, it’s sure to be a fan favorite in the coming months.

At Nori, the quality of food is like no other. Tangy, savory sauces paired with juicy, melt-in-your-mouth meats make for a wonderful combo. The soups are delicious and warming, the salads cool and refreshing, and each individual roll of sushi is carefully made to ensure a quality meal. The amount of food is something to be appreciated as well, as for under $20 you can get a soup, salad, and bento box containing rice, sushi, crispy gyoza, and vegetables paired with a protein of your choice. Not only that, but the cutlery provided is perfectly suited for any meal you choose, as well as being made of quality and sturdy material.

That’s not to say that the staff at Nori is only focused on quality, though. They’re also extremely coordinated, and you can expect your food to be at your table in anywhere from around 10-15 minutes. Not only that, but they are also very attentive. The servers are very professional in that they quickly and effectively respond to anything, regardless of whether it’s a question you have or a napkin you need.

With everything it has going for it, it’s hard to think that Nori won’t become a frequent destination of locals and visitors alike. It’s a great place to stop for a hearty meal for a great price, even more so after a long day at work or school.

Final Rating: 10/10
