My favorite MLB stadiums

1. Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, is the best stadium because you can see how old it is when you are walking in it. One way you can tell it’s old is if you look into the outfield you can see the ivy on the brick wall. No other professional field has that. The other thing that makes it the best is the atmosphere during the games not even just in the stadium but around it everybody is friendly. There is also so much you can do around the stadium like play catch outside  in the grass area where they have  a big screen on a building to watch the game.

2. Kauffman Stadium, home of the Kansas City Royals, is second because of how nice this stadium is on the inside . The best part about it is the water they have in the outfield with fountains that go off when there is a homerun. They also have lights in them that change colors. The other cool part is their tall scoreboard in right center field because it has a giant crown on top of it. You can tailgate there, but it is also in the middle of nowhere, not in the city where there could be a lot around it.

3. Yankee Stadium, home of the New York Yankees, is third because of where it is in New York it is easy to get to. There is not a lot to do around the stadium like there is at Wrigley Field but there are some restaurants by it. What makes it easy is you can get to it on the trains from any part of the city and it doesn’t take that long. It only takes about 25 minutes from Manhattan to Yankee Stadium. The fans in the stadium always have a lot of energy during the games and their fan base cares a lot. It is fun just to be in the stadium during the games. They kept some history from the old stadium with plaques from former players with their numbers and some things about them on them behind the center field wall.

4. Busch Stadium, home of the St Louis Cardinals, is at four because it is a cool stadium and like the Yankees you can easily get there by train. They also have a place by it like Wrigley Field does where you can sit outside somewhere by the stadium and around it. The other cool thing is how if you look into the outfield by right field you can see the famous St. Louis Arch from the stadium. There is also a building across the street that people watch games from. It has a pool that you can see the people in if you look up at it from the outfield in the seats.

5. American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers, is five because it is a cool stadium and has a retractable roof. There really is nothing around it so fans in the parking lot tailgate and you have to walk kind of far depending on where you are in the parking lot. When you are in the stadium, they have a slide in left field but only the mascot can go down it and only goes down it when there is a home run. The other thing about it is it is really easy to see into the bullpen and watch pitchers warm up from the outfield if you are in right field. There are also a lot of big windows in the outfield that you can look out and see what’s going on outside the stadium.
