Meaning of life with Rachel Kauchak

The Writer

“I think it’d be cool to influence people with my stories.”

By Abby Kent

The most fun vacation I’ve ever been on would be when I went to Kentucky. It was a family reunion and we went to this big lake. We were there for a whole week and did a lot of fun things.

My dream job would be to be a writer. I really like to write and I think it’d be cool to influence people with my stories. If I could do any style I’d probably do fiction, maybe even some poetry.

I would say my hero is my dad because he doesn’t care what people think about him and he’s kind to everyone no matter who they are.

I like cats better than dogs because I’ve never had a dog so I’m probably biased. I just think cats are super cute, really soft, and I like their meows.

An interesting fact about myself that most people don’t know is I’m awful at watching TV shows. I’ll binge watch them and then never watch them again. I just can’t seem to keep up with them.

The craziest thing I’ve ever done was probably when I was in Florida. We were driving a boat on the intracostal and there was a storm coming so it was really wavy so we decided to drive straight into the ocean part. We went full speed at it and we almost flipped our boat over in the waves because when we turned around it was really sharp and crazy! We did it just for fun, too.

The proudest moment of my life was when I made it onto the competition gymnastics team at the Batavia Park District.

What holds me back in life is being scared of what people think.

The rules I try to live by is to try to make sure I’m always happy with what I’m doing and that I try and make the right decision every time I make one.

In my free time, I hang out with my friends, watch YouTube and Netflix, swim, bake, and do gymnastics.

My favorite subject in school is either English because I love to read and write, or art because I love drawing and painting.

If I had one million dollars I think I would probably buy something really nice for myself and my family.

The best piece of advice anyone’s ever given me was when my mom told me that if I do my best and never let someone put me down then I can do anything that I put my mind to.

If I had 24 hours to live I would say goodbye to everyone and do something really daring or something I’ve always wanted to do like skydiving.

My favorite movie is The Giver because it’s way better than the book and it’s really inspirational and well played.

If I had 3 wishes I would wish for a new house, a bunch of kitty cats, and infinite wishes!
My favorite season is winter because of Christmas, snow, my birthday, and it’s just so cozy and fun!
