Top 10 places in the U.S that are a must see

The United States has diverse landscapes and cities. From the rainy days in Oregon to the deserts in Arizona and around to the sticky hot summers in the south, these climates make up our unique cultural cities along with rare scenery. The list below will include some of the most popular and diverse terrain that you should see with your own eyes.

Top five cities/towns that are a must see include:

San Francisco, which is located in California. Many different ethnic groups make up this beautiful town. Along with the towering Golden Gate Bridge which is really a significant piece of history to enjoy.

Next is New York City, which is the most populated city in the U.S. In New York City, people would be able to experience the busy city life and maybe be able to catch a show on Broadway.

After is Honolulu, Hawaii which is the capital of Hawaii. This city has a tropical terrain that includes volcanoes, which we don’t have here on the mainland. In Hawaii, many will be able to experience the relaxed island lifestyle.

Also don’t forget to visit Washington D.C, which is the capital of our country and shows our important history. Located in this city are many monuments such as the Lincoln Memorial and Thomas Jefferson Memorial along with the White House itself.

The last city that is a must see is New Orleans, located down south in Louisiana. The town has old history that is seen through its home and cemeteries. Mardi gras is also a historic event that is still celebrated today.

Top five national parks/landscapes that are highly rated to see are:

Zion National Park which is located in Utah. It is one of Utah’s oldest national parks and covers over 146,000 acres. Its views and canyon hikes makes it a perfect destination for people who enjoy the outdoors.

In addition, lots of people should also visit Yellowstone National Park. This park is home to the largest hot springs in the U.S. and the third largest in the world.

The next location is the Hamilton Pool located in Texas. It is placed just outside of Austin and now currently is a natural pool which was created when an underground river collapsed because of lots of erosion thousand of years ago into a dome.

You’ll definitely not want to miss the Northern Lights in Alaska. These are best seen in Fairbanks and Anchorage only through the months of April and August.

Finally the last stop of your trip would be to see Lake Tahoe located between California and Nevada. It is a beautiful lake so clear everyone can see 70 feet deep and is surrounded by the towering Sierra Mountains on all sides.

Overall, the United States has many locations that should be on your must-see list. All the way from Maine up east to California on the West sides, nature itself has shaped many regions and our culture itself make up many towns all over. Make sure to try to check off these places off your list and  keep on exploring.
