Allison Jordan (Head Freshmen) – sixth year

Last season’s highlights (including record): Batavia finished the season with a 26-6 record. Batavia won a share of the conference championship with Geneva (11-1 in conference) and also took home a regional championship,  the team’s second in three years.  Batavia also won the Marian Catholic Christmas tournament.

Top Returnees: There will be several senior captains returning: Alex Pirion, Elena Cabrera, Mackenzie Foster, and Morgan Erickson. The team’s other Returners are seniors Shannon King, Kaley Lorenz, Stephanie Rodriguez, and sophomores Haley Orman and Geddy Rerko.

Top Newcomers: The top newcomers for the season are two sophomores: Jenna Laughlin and Ava Sergio.

Outlook for this season: “We will look like a completely different team this year,” said Kevin Jensen. The team graduated four of our five regular starters.  The seniors will all be accepting much larger roles this year. The team will also be expecting some younger players to step up as well.  “There may be some growing pains along the way, but by the end of the season we will be a very hard team to beat,” Jensen said.

Top teams in your league/area: Geneva, St. Charles North, and St. Charles East are the top teams in our conference.
